A Higher Purpose – Because every child deserves security and love

At Buddy, everything we do is about one thing: giving children the courage and strength to believe in themselves. But behind our universe with Braveheart lies an even deeper mission – a mission shaped by my own life, my own experiences, and my own heart’s blood.

My name is Bastian Møller. I am the founder of Buddy, the author of the Braveheart books and the creator of the Braveheart universe. I myself experienced a childhood marked by poverty. I know what it feels like to go to bed hungry. I clearly remember the shame of not having winter boots and jackets when the cold set in, and the frustration of not being able to participate in leisure activities. I know the longing for the little things that others take for granted – like a simple day in Tivoli, where you could forget your worries for a while.

That’s why the purpose of Buddy Originals is deeply personal to me. We have decided that half of our annual profits will go directly to families and children living in poverty. The money goes towards food on the table, warm winter boots and jackets, and unforgettable moments with activities and experiences that these children would never otherwise have the opportunity to have. A single day filled with smiles, laughter, and joy can create memories that last a lifetime – and that’s exactly what I will strive to give them.
